It means lounging in your pajamas, sipping hot coffee, and looking out the window to welcome the sun. It means getting up late - but not intentionally, because we all tell ourselves that Saturday will be productive - and eating last nights left overs (in my case it's cold pizza).
Today specifically, it means finishing up the script, it means writing monthly reports for the students, it means sending out emails, it means getting half my intended readings done, and it means a bible study at night. What it no longer means is getting up at the bloody early hour of 6 a.m. to go to work. Those Saturdays are over.
But what I really like about Saturdays is having my family at home. It's nice to see Annabelle outside of Gerstein once in a while, because even though we're sisters, we don't really see each other outside of campus. And it's nice having Aaron in his room, blasting weird, loud music, causing Annabelle to shout, "TURN IT DOWN" every five minutes. And Matt is just Matt, saying random cocky stuff, acting weird by washing the dishes for me, and telling me how much he loves his program (probably because 90% of the people there are girls).
Happy picture of happy hamster:

My hamster bit me all the time. He was fun at parties though. Is this Drew? Or did Drew die?
Drew died ... I got this picture from the somewhere on the internet :P I didn't know Dorito knew how to party, lol.
You're so right -- I slept in yesterday and it felt amazing just knowing that everybody was home.
