To my horror, I dreamt about Mr. M last night. The only reason why this should be horrific is because in the dream, someone else’s face was put on Mr. M’s body.
I guess I should explain who Mr. M is first. Mr. M is the nickname I’ve given my math-loving, bathroom cleaning, sensible and tall future hubby. The fake reason I chose the letter M is because my initials has an M in it.
So you guys ever have those dreams where someone else’s face is on someone else’s body? Or an example would be, and girls can relate to this, dreams where you are walking down the isle towards your husband, but you don’t know who it is. The suspense is killing you, because he is obviously good looking. He is tall with a good built. But then, as he slowly turns around to face you, you’re horrified to realize his face is the face of that shrimpy kid in your class.
That’s the dream I had last night, though actually, my dream makes no sense because I’ve never met Mr. M, and the person who’s face was on Mr. M’s body could very well be in possession of that body. But pretend this loophole doesn’t exist. Actually, just pretend I never typed this, I just realized this conjures up too many unpleasant Freudian theories.
I don’t know if it’s because I have been watching too much of My Princess, a Korean Drama with an annoyingly plain plot, and have been obsessing with Dream High lately (best Korean Drama ever), but my dream was very Korean Dramaesque.
In the dream, our rooms were right beside each other in this weird, open aired house. All my friends and I were in his room, looking up at something on his computer, while he was on the other side blowing up balloons (I would like to note that the reason I probably dreamt of blowing up balloons is because I use to blow up a ton of balloons at work. The balloon farts still haunts me). Eventually, someone suggests that we go out somewhere to eat, and everyone leaves to go downstairs.
I thank Mr. M for letting us use his computer. He says no problem, and we start talking about how accomplished he is, and that he went to England to study for three years. Apparently, he met a girl there who he fell in love with, and broke his heart. The girl then chased him all the way here to reclaim his heart, but he has moved on.
After hearing his story, I go to my room and sit and contemplate on what I just heard. I am busy day dreaming when he barges in my room and asks to borrow scissors, and then walks out before I can give it to him.
So that was my very uneventful dream that left me with a lot to think about. I can’t reveal who’s face I dreamt of, because you guys don’t know him, but even if you did, fat chance that I’d blab it here even if, according to Hannah, I have a bad habit of saying things I shouldn't say.
---Edit---
I forgot to mention that I was whistling while walking around Hart House today, when all the sudden the guy walking in front of me started whistling also. It was awesome! We had a mini symphony going on.
Also, John said that blogging was just another narcissistic form of talking about yourself and getting attention, this is true and I've mentioned it before, but if you ask me, blogging is 10x better than updating twitter/your fb status ten times a day. At least blogging requires a bit of thinking.
