It wasn't until I started working in retail that I begun to really celebrate holidays, like mothers day and christmas. Seeing my coworkers buy presents during the holidays make me feel more celebratory.
Hurrah!
The grass is finally getting greener, the birds are chirping louder, the sun is out longer, and Henry is starting to spray. I'm in a lighter mood because hopefully Leo's going to be free these next few weeks to bum around with me. Hurrah!
Dead Rat Swimming
Every year when it gets hot enough I make an attempt at tanning myself. For the second day in a row, I ventured off to the backyard in a pair of short shorts with a book in a vain attempt of trying to give my pale legs a little colour. And every year I fail to use sunscreen, explains why my legs are currently bright as lobsters and why the skin on my upper arm is probably going to start peeling off tomorrow.

Leaving
My friend Constance is going back to Singapore next month and I will miss her very much. We only met a few months ago when she started working with me, but since then we've gotten close. It's sad how everyone is leaving. Yesterday she asked me to go to Prince Edward Island with her to visit her brother since he's graduating from university, sadly I can't due to low funds. I told her that if she ever comes back from Singapore we'll definitely go.
'tis sweet freedom
Hurray! I've survived second year with less bruises, scrapes and mental scaring than I've expected.
